As you might have guessed i am a Diablo fan Find me on battle.net
Here are some tatics for single and multiplayer games
Tips And Tricks Wizard Battle Help Tip If you play the wizard, increase your magic more than your vitality, because your magic starts higher so your mana will get higher faster, then use Mana Shield before a battle situation. At level 51 (the level required for Stone Curse) your mana is at 185! With Mana Shield, that is 185 hit points! You could probably beat the Butcher with your fist with that. Permanent Portals in Multiplayer Games You need at least two characters who can cast Town Portal (staff, scroll whatever). When in the dungeon each person should cast the spell. From then on, only use the portal that the other person made.. or don't complete a round trip in your own portal. The portals will remain and not disappear use after use! When you go down a level, just recast the two portals again. Extremely useful when you require frequent trips up to offload equipment and reload up on potions. Extra Spells If you join a game and you see a book you like and you want to learn more about the spell, just rejoin the game and the book will be there...buy it then return, buy it then return, and so on. This only works in Dynamic games and one person must always be in the game. Dying on a Level A neat trick to getting your things back after you die, is what I call the Human Magnet. Since the monsters seem to hang around your stuff (sweaty armor smells good to them or something) you need to create a diversion to draw them off. You bring your character back to the site of the accident, create a portal (very important), make sure the monsters there see you, then run like hell into the maze taking the monsters with you. This has worked really well for me, just make sure you are carrying nothing. Because when they catch you, and they do, you will lose nothing but the free health that Peppin gave you. Once you hit Restart in Town (not new game), just pop into the portal, grab your goodies, and kick some butt. Firewall Trick & Death Let's say you have a boss that you are having trouble killing, for instance, Diablo. Get rid of your stuff you are holding and leave it in town. Then, stand still and wait for the monster to run at you. Now, cast a firewall spell (or more if you want) right next to you. They will stupidly step into the flames just to attack you. Sit there and let them hack you. Just wait until they die in the flames then restart the game in town. Firewall & Teleport You can teleport in where the monster you are trying to kill then cast firewall at the monster. When it is in the flames just teleport out. The monster won't move from the flames since it can't see you. (It doesn't work 100% of the time tough.) Those Pesky Mages in Hell Warriors and sorcerers work well together against these guys. Have the sorcerer cast stone curse on all these losers and let the warrior wipe them up. Nice and easy. It doesn't take long to clear out big rooms of them. Also, for warriors only, try and get them to reappear in or near a corner. Then, once you see in the the exact corner, come at them from a 45 degree angle from their spot. That way they keep reappearing in the same spot as long as you don't move to the side. Spell Overloads When casting spells like chain lightning, people normally only do it one at a time, until they run out of mana. Well, now there's a way to get more out of it. When you find a big load of enemies or even one or two, keep right clicking as fast as you can and it lets you pull off a few more spells then you are spending mana for. Killing
THE QUEST GUIDE FOR DIABLO
This is real sweet if you don't like putting up with all his annoying mages and knights. Once you pull all the levers on his level and cleaned up and other enemies around his spot, go back to town and buy a bunch of long range spells like lightning, nova, fireball, etc. Then go back to his lair and stand out of view from even the walls to his spot. Just get in a position where you have a direct shot to the center of his room. (But don't get any closer to his room.) Now prep all you spells with the hot keys and fire them all in his room. He should come running out quite pissed and moderately to extremely damaged. Now kill him. A knight or two might follow him out, but they should not be a problem if you actually made it to Diablo.
In alphabetical order except for Diablo. This will make the game less fun if you use this for all the quests so I reccomend using this only as a last resort you are stuck in the game. Anvil of Fury How to Solve - Find the anvil and give it to Griswold. It can be found on a lava peninsula in Caves level 9 or 10. Your reward is Griswold's Edge (Unique sword). Who to get quest from: Griswold the Blacksmith Archbishop Lazarus How to Solve - Enter his lair from red portal in Hell level 15, solve the teleporter puzzle, then kill the Bosses! Bosses include Lazarus himself and 2 Succubi mini-bosses. Lazarus likes to throw fireballs. I've heard that warriors should have some good spellcasting abilities by this point. Rewards are 3 random magic items, one from each boss (Lazarus should've had something cool on him). Who to get quest from: Cain the Elder (on level 14) Black Mushroom How to Solve - Find the Fungal Tome in Caves level 10, then give it to the Witch. She'll tell you to bring her the black mushroom (found also on lvl 10), then she'll tell you Pepin needs a demon brain. Kill any demon and bring brain to Pepin for Spectral Elixir, then go to witch, she'll tell you she doesn't need the Elixir any longer. Your reward is to drink the Elixir (+3 to all attributes permanently). Who to get quest from: Adria the Witch after giving her the Fungal Tome. The Butcher Go down to level 2 dungeon and find a bloody room full of bodies. The Butcher is inside the room and will come out to kill you. You can cast a firewall on him and close the door so he gets trapped trying to get out, use a bow on him while he's trapped on the other side of a gate, or take him on in hand to hand with at least leather armor, a sword and a shield. Your reward is the Butcher's Cleaver. Who to get quest from: Wounded Townsman outside church entrance Chamber of Bone How to Solve - Enter the secret room that is reached from a separate stair case from catacombs level 6. Once inside defeat all undead. You can then learn the Guardian spell there. How to get the quest: Read the big book in the Dungeon (not sure about which level) Gharbad the Weak How to Solve - Meet him (He's a goat man) on Dungeon level 4, keep returning to him, then kill him. Your reward is random magic items (x2). Halls of the Blind How to Solve -Search the 4 room area where lots of those sneakers lurk (the ones that fight, then melt into the shadows), one of the Catacomb levels (I think level 7). Your reward is the Optic Amulet. How to get the quest: Read the big book in the dungeon (not sure what level) King Leoric How to Solve - Enter the tomb from an entrance on the 3rd level. You will face a lot of skeletons, including skeleton bows. You will find two levers in the tomb. The lever in the east room opens a door that contains a couple of chests. Open the chests and you will find some items that will be useful in defeating the Skeleton King. Go to the lever in the west room. This will open the gate to the Skeleton King and his followers. The Skeleton King will go around and resurrect his slain followers, so you should kill him first. He's heavily armoured and tough in hand to hand combat, so let fly with holy bolts. A dozen or so should kill him. Your reward is the Undead Crown. You can also find other magical items in his treasure room to the north. A secret passage will also open to the east of the big room if you chop down all four crucified skeletons in the corner. Lachnadan How to Solve -Bring him (he is now a Blood Knight) the Golden Elixir, found in Hell level 15. Your reward is the Veil of Steel (unique helm that is AWESOME!!!). Magic Rock How to Solve -Find it in Catacombs, give it to Griswold. Your reward is Empyrean Band. Who to get quest from: Griswold the Blacksmith. Ogden's Sign How to Solve - There are 2 ways to complete this quest. This is the best way: Talk to Snotspill (a dark one boss) on dungeon lvl 4, find the sign in a chest guarded by Overlords, return sign to Ogden, then go kill Snotspill. Your reward from Ogden is Harlequin Crest (you also get Ice Shank [unique sword] off Snotspill). Poisoned Town Water Supply How to Solve - Kill all creatures in secret dark cave (reach it from dungeon level 3). Your reward from Pepin is the Ring of Truth. Who to get quest from: Pepin the Healer Valor How to Solve - Use the 3 Bloodstones on the altar in the Catacombs level 5. Your reward is Arkaine's Valor (unique armor). Zhar the Mad How to Solve - Kill Zhar the Mad (He's an evil NPC wizard) in the level 8 Catacombs. Your reward is a random magic item and a scroll or book. Diablo How to Solve - Go through the pentagram to kill this bad ass motherfu@#$r for endgame cinematics! Holy bolt works well against him. How to get the quest: Cain the Elder
